Men's ProLite Slip-Ons

I wish I had these Sloggers Men's garden shoes ages ago when I was digging up my yard for raised beds. I can't believe how comfortable they are, how easily they slip on and how waterproof they really are. I've found myself looking forward to wearing them and many times I'll put them on in the morning and just wear them around the house as slippers. I put them on when I go outside to refill the bird feeder or work in the yard, and I've even worn them to the grocery store because they're so comfortable to walk around in.The website suggests that if you normally wear a half-size, to order up, and they sell inserts for a very reasonable price, that will sort of fill in to compensate for the larger size. I normally wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 10 and ordered the inserts as well. Turns out that the shoes run a half-size small, so the size 10 fit perfectly and the inserts weren't required. As an aside, I kept the inserts and used them on a different pair of shoes that were a little too big and they worked to make them more comfortable, so that's a plus.The quality is top notch. They seem to be made very well, and thoughtfully. There are a lot of similar type "gardening shoes" on the market, and I've tried a few in this price range, but none were as good a quality nor as comfortable as these Sloggers. I only wish that Sloggers made regular, non-gardening leather clogs for men. If they did it with the same well thought out, well designed process as these ProLite garden shoes, I'd buy a pair in a minute. I would recommend these over popular brands like Crocs. I can't say enough good things about them.

Quality and Performance: Construction seems to be solid quality and although I've only used them on a few occasions so far, they appear to hold up well during gardening and yard work activities. Entire outside is durable rubber so makes it easy to wash off any dirt or mud and prevents water from being absorbed inside your shoes.Cons: I find these shoes to be a bit too narrow for my preference. I walk with a significant supination and find that my foot rolls off balance pretty frequently while working in them which is not the most comfortable. It's not a deal breaker but for me it's the difference between a 4 star and 5 star rating. Overall, this is a great shoe for the price and would recommend.

They are comfortable for wearing to the mailbox or a walk through the neighborhood and have a durable sole as well. I have another pair that I have had for about 4 years and show just a little wear on the heel. The arch support on the inner liner works fine for me and if someone needed additional arch support, the inner liner is easily removed to replace with another one. They do come in different colors and while they don't come in half sizes, I prefer to have a little larger size to make it that much easier to slip on or off. This is especially convenient when working in muddy conditions. They do feel light on my feet and aren't loose on my foot at all. I couldn't be happier with them.

But for general gardening, or even a quick trip to the curb to get the mail or take out the trash, these are perfect. Just remember to size up!

I wear a size 11 Men ' s. I can ' t fit my foot in these. My son wears a 10 1/2 Men ' s and they barely fit so definitely upside. Now as for quality I ' d give them 4 stars.they are not cheaply made and made right here in America.

These are comfortable and feel very lightweight. They’re easy to slip on and seem well made overall. I would say they run slightly large, so keep that in mind when ordering.

The only downside is the side support isn’t great. They’re fine for general yard work and quick trips outside, but don’t expect a lot of stability on the sidew. Overall though, good quality and I’m happy with them.
