These shoes can be worn in a variety of conditions, and two of these are noteworthy. First, when you need a shoe for yard work, then the protection offered by these sloggers will be appreciated. No on wants to step into a muddy area and have moisture seep inside an unsealed shoe. Second, it is great shoe for short-term protection while walking/working on any wet surface (floor or sidewalk). For example, when mopping floors.I would not recommend wearing these shoes in snow or on ice because the shoe material loses some traction in colder temperatures. And if you need a waterproof shoe for general, everyday walking and commuting, then a sturdier shoe with a thicker sole and more exterior protection would be a better choice. This is not a criticism of the design, it is just a recognition that these shoes serve a limited purpose.Sizing of these shoe is generous and notably comfortable. These pair will easily slip-on and off, and it's best to wear them with socks that will wick-away moisture. So, if you need a waterproof shoe for some light yard work, indoor cleaning, and general short-time wear, then you'll enjoy these.

Great Waterproof Slip-On Shoes

I've had these for a year. They're a great pair of true-to-size waterproof slip-ons to keep near the front door. It's possible to put them on without using my hands, but it's easier to shove my foot in the shoe, lift it up and use a finger to pull the opening around the back of my foot. The shoes are comfortable and reasonably supportive. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that on uneven footing, the shoe sometimes rotates around my foot.

Well, as you can see. I already have a pair and I worked them hard. Had them quite a few years and they are fantastic. All the work in our garden I did and building stuff and pottering around outside. They always felt comfortable. So easy to hose off. And as you can see it is about time now to get me another pair. I checked out many others but decided no way. I stick with what I know is good. Will order myself a pair right now.

Could be improved

These are keepers, well made (in USA!), comfortable & nice looking, a bit narrow. I’ve been on the hunt for a shoe that you could slip your feet into. I’m always carrying something outside and with my muck shoes I’m replacing, I don’t have to put anything down, just slip my feet in and I’m off. The hole for your foot shrank on the latest iteration of Muck brand shoes and I won’t buy them. These have a larger opening, I can wiggle bare feet into them but not with socks on. IF they had some heel stiffeners (like the Muck brand I’m replacing), that would be possible but as is, you crush the back of the shoe down. So, I’ll take 50% of what I wanted!

These Sloggers are great shoes. I have owned a pair for several years (8) and I finally got a new pair because I have worn the other ones down pretty good. I wore my old pair to do some airless sprayer painting and the paint didn't come off (waited too long to try and remove). These have to be some of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. They just slip on and they have a tall enough ridge they don't fall off or flop on your feet. They are worth the $50.00! I don't think you'd regret owning these shoes. The insoles hold up and have never bunched up in the toe. Great Amazon seller as well. I mean they got here QUICK!!! Just the right size packaging.

So I'm supposed to be a size 9 but these feel very spacious when I put them on. I can easily take them off without manual help, I like the build and how they feel though, they are still very useful. My heel easily comes off the insole. I think I'll just keep these and look at Women's sizes for a snug fit, I would like to be around with a more relaxed footwear and these fit that want good. I tried to provide good pictures to show the space in them.

The garden shoes were fine until two days ago the left heal split open. They only lasted 11 months!
Update 11/16/2023
After I wrote my first review, I cut the heels so they were more like clogs. And used them alot and finally about a month ago I finally threw them out as the tops were worn out. The soles were still in great shape. They worked very well as clogs for a long time.

Love sloggers! I bought this pair to give as a gift to my husband while he walks the cat on days when the ground is wet. He said they fit great, true to size and really comfortable. The only problem is they really aren’t black, they sort of have a tiny leopard print design when looking at them up close. The design isn’t much of a problem when your just walking in your yard (with a tiny leopard), but he wouldn’t wear them anywhere in public. Other than that great shoes!

They're inexpensive rubber slip on shoes so you hardly expect super high quality. However, they're not an even brown. They appear a dark purple or brown depending on the light. Also, they have this weird leopard print to them that makes no sense. Could they be trying for an alligator print and failing epically? Who knows. Yet, I'm keeping them. They fit the need; cheap lawn mowing shoes that will keep the feet dry. I will say one thing I was very pleased with; they don't stink like rubber.

second pair for meand I didn't quesrin the price. Going to turn my original pair into camping shoes. They are comfortable and easy to get on and off as you would expect from a clog BUT they don't easily fall off. I've had my first pair for about 7 years. They sit by my back door waiting to be slipped on for any yard action I desire. My first pair have been outside in the elements of idaho this whole time and don't show any signs of deterioration which tells me they are quality materials and manufacturing. I love that when they get dirty you just slip pull out the liner sole and spray them off and they dry super easy. You can see by the photos that the old pair are still ready for action.
